My suggestion to new grads would be to have patience and keep learning and experimenting. According to me, exploration and experimentation are the best ways to learn something.
The coolest thing about my job is the people I get to work with and learn from. Whether it be learning technical skills through direct help and feedback or learning through observations on how others contribute to team goals.
I love that I am able to design algorithms and train neural networks in a research context, on audio, and within Australia. Also, we have the coolest labs! And movie days too!
While in support I thoroughly enjoyed the troubleshooting aspects, sharing my knowledge acquired with others and helping retailers get the solution they require while delivering the most effective service.
