As we work in groups our hours are not that flexible, we tend to work from 8:30-5

We are allowed to work from home at anytime, as long as there's no meeting or commitment that require you to be presented in person). Working hours is set, but you can do early morning or late night, as long as your total weekly hours are satisfied.

37.5 hours a week. Team is very flexible when it comes to working
Graduate, Christchurch - 15 Jul 2024
The company is very flexible with the work hours as long as the total hours for the week is met. I have been dealing with an injury and have physio and specialist appointments almost weekly and I have been able to leave work at all different hours as long as I make those hours up

I am very content with the flexibility of my hours. However I know some of the other grads do not have the same flexibility even in BAS so I do think the inconsistency is a bit unfair for those with managers who aren't as flexible. Some grads are in the same team but under different management so have different rules when it comes to flexibility. But for me personally its great and my team is great with flexi-time.

normal hours in office, audit seems less flexible in terms of work hours than other departments but believe this was just for grads during schools and will probably be able to have flexible hours after talking to a manager after working a while if need be
Graduate, Christchurch - 12 Jul 2024
I can start and finish work any time as long as hours are met for the week

Flexi time works really well for me, this allows me to have a certain lifestyle and start earlier in the day where I feel as I'm more productive and leave in good time to still have time after work to partake in other activities. This has been really good in winter with the shorter days.

BDO is pretty flexible when it comes to work hours. Like when you may need to pop off early for appointments etc. However in audit, they are more firm on having you stay from 8:30-5.
