Salary at Bunzl APAC

I have a neutral stance on this as I have not been with the company for that long

Bunzl pays competitive salaries. As a publicly listed company they can't often offer the top dollar but the salaries are competitive. I recently got a promotion that came with a solid pay rise for someone with no sales experience. Commission is available for sales people and bonuses are available for general staff if the company does well, although this is small than some companies.

So far I've only been there for one year. I'm being paid slightly more than I was expecting for my first year. However, I have heard from other employees that pay is low. Personally, I am okay with somewhat lower pay if it means I get to work in a great work environment. However, there is a limit. At this stage, I don't know if my pay expectations will be matched or not next year.

I am quite satisfied with my salary especially as I am still considered entry level and have only been in the HR for just over 1 year. There is an employee profit share scheme which all permanent employees are eligible for after 12 months which I am looking forward to.

For the grad program it is the quarterly trips to Melbourne where food and accommodation is paid for. Employees with Bunzl for greater than 12 months get health insurance for free.

Casual Fridays - they make me feel excited about coming to work on Fridays as the atmosphere is different. 4% discounts at Woolies/Coles - we all buy groceries, so 4% discounts at Woolies/Coles don't hurt.
