Training & Personal Development at Bunzl APAC

The company has taught me many practical, transferable skills as well as develop skills in software that has universal applications across many platforms

I have developed a huge range of skills (primarily microsoft) that I didn't have before starting the graduate program. There is also formal training that you get to do quarterly which is fantastic. The only real downside is that there is a lot of self learning which will be better for some and not so good for others.

The formal training is excellent. We are given speeches as well as interactive learning sessions. The informal training is great as there is lots of support, but it can be daunting at first as there is a lot to process. I have improved project and time management skills and become excellent at Excel. I've also improved my coding skills. My communication skills have also sharpened.

I have had a few training sessions, one was about interpreting psychometric test results which was very interesting and useful to know, and the other session trained us on how to better utilise our HR recruitment software.

The manager have taken a day out to show me around. There are training materials available online for different roles including sales, negotiation and inventory management . I have improved in researching and editing.
