Please describe the interview process and assessments.
For the grad program there was an in-person grad day where the shortlist was interviewed. I believe DHL no longer does psychometric assessments but I'm not 100% sure. I had to do my initial interview virtually as I was on holiday and DHL was happy to facilitate this. I then had a follow up in person interview which was more casual in nature.

1. Sent CV, reference letter and academic transcript 2. Short video interview 3. Invited to a graduate day with all the other applicants where we did small team challenges etc. We also had an overview of the role, listened to a few speakers about their experiences as a grad and then had a tour of one of the sites. 4. Presentation and panel interview

I think the hiring process was very good. I remember submitting my CV and DHL sent an email saying they would get back to us within a timeframe. Though the timeframe was long (which isn't an issue) they got back to us as promised. The process was very easy, engaging and unique. The presentation piece was something new for me, whilst nerve racking, I think its a really good way to conduct an interview process.

The interview was with the SLT where I was asked some questions about my strengths and weaknesses as well as how I face challenges. They also gave assessments to see how I would deal or solve them.

Work in a warehouse prior to applying to get a feel for what I've been told is the 'bread and butter' of the business (Operations/Warehousing) - I have found most warehouses have a WMS have lots of similarities. Understand what a supply chain is, this way they understand the role they play in society. Work in a office/people interactive role - A lot of what we do at DHL is engage with a variety of people. Confidence makes a large impact.
