DHL has a large array of trainings available which I have taken part in (dangerous goods, health and safety, Inclusion, commercial contracting) I have also gotten better at Excel.

DHL provide a lot of trainings for their staff. I've had the chance to do DG, Forklift, First aid trainings. But from an operational point of view, I think the training's have been quite poor. Whilst we are put in operations, we still only have a basic understanding. I think if there is proper training and focus given to us, we can learn the supervisors role decently well within 2 weeks. We spend a lot of time in operations but learn the staff roles, and not the system (supervisor/ops manager level)

The people here are lovely, always willing to help teach you things you are needing help with. A lot of work instructions put in place - but sometimes, people learn better when they are seeing someone do the task first etc.

Some trainings I was taught well and they made sure I understood what I had to do, however, some times I feel like I have been thrown into the deep end to survive by myself with little to no training where I had to figure it out by myself. I have been trained on first aid and DGs but stuff like using the Manhattan or Blue Jay system I had to learn about that myself.
