We recognize the difference you bring to our business, and together we share the pride of building THE logistics company for the world. DHL is the global market leader in the logistics and supply chain industry, specialising in providing innovative and customised solutions.
We are excited to be calling for new graduates to join our DHL Supply Chain team. We have six graduate placements available commencing in February 2024.
These roles will be located in Auckland and rotations will be based on our sites at the Airport, Highbrook and Mount Wellington.
ALL applicants will be reviewed. We look forward to receiving your application.
To be considered for this role it is essential that candidates already have in place their legal entitlement to work in NZ.
My day-to-day work will depend on what rotation I am in. There is a large variety of work graduates can be involved with. Generally, graduates will have one or two things to focus on at a time.
The graduate role offers the opportunity to rotate through all the departments within our team in New Zealand. In addition to learning key concepts and procedures, you'll have the chance to take on real responsibilities depending on the projects happening in each rotation. These responsibilities can vary and may include tasks such as process improvements, compliance, reporting, and supporting new initiatives and solutions.
There are days that feel great as we try something new or we are kept on our toes with something interesting and challenging. My days are quite varied dependent on what role or task I'm given.

Would you like to become part of the world's most international company?
The people are great to work with and very friendly.
The DHL Supply Chain Graduate Program offers extensive training and development opportunities.
The program includes guidance from experienced mentors and managers, aiding graduates in skill development and career navigation.
The best thing about working for DHL Supply Chain NZ is the workplace culture. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming plus there are lots of events to get everyone engaged.
Working hours are good giving a nice work-life balance. When people have appointments and other commitments the company is flexible.
Due to the size of the company, it can be slow for things to get done, especially if they require input from overseas.
One drawback of the DHL Supply Chain Graduate Program can be the intense and fast-paced nature of the work.
Some have been good at providing this, others have not.
Some graduates have expressed concerns about the inconsistency in training quality across different departments, with some managers offering structured development while others provide less guidance.
Graduates mentioned that, at times, there is a lack of clear work allocation, which can result in waiting for tasks or being underutilized, especially during quieter periods.
