I would receive a bug report, maybe work with a tester on how I can recreate the issue in the web application. Then research the underlying code. Try many different things as part of solving the issue, send them to code review, and then commit the changes for testing. This is a lot of work in JavaScript on the front-end, with Kendo UI for jQuery. Also in the Oracle database, using PL/SQL. In-between is C# ASP.NET 4.5, but I do not often work in there yet.

I am a technical Release Manager, which means I get involved in the back-end stuff of the release aspects. I help with the deployment of services when there is a release, while also being available to help technically when the team is having issues with the release. My day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining internal servers and environments, cleaning up deployment software and our release database, while also documenting my responsibilities as my predecessor did not give me a handover.

I am a project coordinator. My role includes scrum master responsibilities, assisting project managers with day to day tasks, putting together weekly reports, & tracking team performance on projects. Along with other smaller pieces of project work.

Helping customers migrate systems

No day is ever the same. My responsibilities range of both back end and front end work. I analyze problems/incidents in production that users face and solve them by recommending the user how to do things or change parts of the applications as work arounds to get them processing again. I also do certificate renewals for all our servers and environments that we use here in NZ I'm currently training new staff in my main day to day job responsibilities while also keeping up with everything else.

I have plenty of responsibilities that I do very well, I analyze problems users face with VISA applications in the production environment and support them by advising them what to do or make changes in the system itself. I am a Test Analyst in the Delivery side of work. My day-to-day responsibilities include: - Working to complete multiple test cases assigned to me within the current project - looking for possible defects while completing these test cases and ensuring those defects/issues are raised for the developers to fix & then re-testing those defect scenarios. - Creating new test cases either for new projects or current projects to ensure tests are meeting new/current business requirements.

I am a Graduate Test Engineer, I will be assigned to projects or teams to be able to test work. Currently waiting for work to come through, in my down time I study ISTQB/Agile/Automation skills.

My role involves maintaining and developing some government systems. At my current level of experience (1 year) I am mostly fixing bugs and working on small projects.

Everyday is different, but consists of: E-mails, meetings, pipeline management, responding to RFP's, professional development, business planning and other ad hoc tasks.
