Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
The Dunedin office has a very generic design with bland colours, which isn't conducive to creativity, but that's acceptable since our work doesn't involve design. The absence of natural light and windows in the office is not ideal, but it's beyond our control. The dress code is officially smart casual, which I didn't initially appreciate, but it's not strictly enforced, so wearing something different isn't a concern.

Dress code is business casual. Office location relatively accessible from motorway, facilities nice. Not super fancy.

The office space is nice, and well maintained, with good carparking but poor public transport links. Dress code is flexible, to allow for a variety of dress styles, and backgrounds, and brings the focus onto work – essentially people are able to dress as they find comfortable, and the style of dress is dictated by the necessity from the given role you are in. Onsite Cafeteria is great, but seeing price increases with cost of living crisis, and impacts on quality. Bike storage and showers are also a plus.

The main office used to be an old warehouse repurposed into the current 'Design Centre'. Within, there are many points of interest, such as the social kitchen or interesting pieces of architecture and furniture. The work desks are open plan (so sound can travel quite well...), and indoor plants contrast the cold concrete of the office giving a clean, minimal, industrial look to the main office space. The kitchens and kitchenettes offer coffee and barista machines. Fridges and cupboards supply the Friday social drinks and chippies as well as a variety of miscellaneous kitchen and cooking supplies. The air-con can be a bit goofy at times but all in all it is a comfortable space to work in. The east building where our team's lab is is quite old and rundown but has its own charm I suppose. Refridge team is very generous where we have our own kitchen in their lab where we sit down to eat lunch, cook, and socialise. The location of the office is amazing for me. It's only a 15 minute drive away. The dress code is labelled as business casual, but you will see a variety of fashion and styles across the office. Being in PD working in labs and working with machines, most of us wear functional clothing and sway towards the casual. However, there is never any pressure to dress in a certain way as long as you look presentable, which is a nice avenue and way for people to be able to express themselves in the office.

Dress code is smart casual. No suit needed. I try to dress up from other people at the office. Lots of office space, big wide open office, lots of meeting rooms, nice big cafeteria which serves great food, I really like the location, its outside of the city so I miss the traffic into the city in the morning and out of the city in the afternoon.

The office space is fine. It is a large open office area with everyone sitting on rows of desks with 3/4 people per side. Everyone is in the open environment, no offices. There are many meeting rooms spread out in blocks throughout the office space with a kitchen in the middle. The office is located in East Tamaki which is fine commute wise if you live in/around south, central, or east Auckland but less nice coming from/going to west Auckland or the north shore. There is a new office currently under construction in Penrose. Along with the office space there is a building which houses the distribution warehouse, Fisher & Paykel Technologies, and the cafe where we get our subsidised meals (breakfast and lunch but most people just get lunch). There isn't a strict dress code in the office. You see a range from (for men) dress shirt, nice pants, nice shoes to a tee shirt and a hoodie. This is reflected in the women's clothing as well.

Awesome, super nice facility! Dress code is awesome, I can have days where I wear a hoodie and jeans and no one looks at me funny, all about working comfortably and being happy.

Space: large enough for everyone to feel very comfortable Location: conveniently located above a mall Facilities: well equipped kitchen with high-end coffee machines; bathroom has plenty of capacity, never had to wait Dress code: casual.

For the most part, the facilities are really great. Multiple toilets at almost each corner of the office. Clean bathrooms and showers available for everyone. Open floor plan with plenty of meeting rooms and hot desks. Subsidised food in the cafeteria, free coffees and teas. Plenty of microwaves, coffee machines (manual and automatic), sandwich presses and other cooking amenities. Large workshop for prototypes and tests. Things that could be improved: More 3D printing machines. Would be really nice to have for prototypes.

Nice big offices and labs, dress code is semi-formal but you can pretty much wear what you like

Office is relatively clean, modern and spacious. The facilities provided are perfect and appropriate for my role.

Office space and facilities are good. Standing desks would be nice. Standard dress code is relaxed formal (collared shirt and trousers), which I wear, although there is variation with plenty of people in shorts and tee or the more formal button down shirt and trousers. I appreciate leaving the decision of formality required for the day to the individual.

Open plan offices. Good workshop with tools to prototype and test things. Testing chambers for products, model shop for hard and soft tooling. Some 3D printing facilities. Dress code is smart casual. Up to the person so long as you dress modest enough for an office. Some people are in suit pants and buttoned shirts, others are in T-shirts, hoodies, and sneakers.

Large open-plan office with a social kitchen, design space (features our products), and several workshops. Bathroom facilities are cleaned frequently. Showers, lockers, and parking space for bikes are also available. Free parking is difficult to find as we are located in a shopping mall. Dress code is casual to smart-casual.

Nice open plan office, flexibility with dress code.

Decent as it provides parking space. Otherwise, traffic is bad in the morning and afternoon, but this could be universal auckland experience. Office itself is good, it has many meeting rooms, open space. More amenities would make this office stellar, such as gym. It seems there is little to no dress code. Only unspoken ones I have noticed is closed shoes.

The company space is awesome. There is plenty of room for social interactions, keeping up office morale as well as facilities to get work done. The dress code is tidy casual, and there seems to be a large range of dress in the office - from suits to tshirt and shorts.
