Engineer Graduate at Honeywell Australia and New Zealand
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) (Honours) at Monash University
As a Graduate Engineer I am shaping the future by
Bringing critical infrastructure to life with the latest technology
Describe your day to day
I work on-site every day in a team of two managing the essential services that keep a 44,000+ square meter facility running, everything from maintaining CCTV cameras to painting the walls. I’ll be planning the next round of upgrade works, holding meetings with our Client and the State, or running around triaging an unexpected breakdown. It’s rare for a day to go exactly as we plan on site, but figuring out the curve balls is part of the fun.
Describe your biggest achievement as a Grad
Coordinating and completing a full site asset condition audit, of over fifty thousand assets, and presenting my findings to a group of premium Clients in preparation for a contract renewal.
What is something you have learnt about yourself over your Grad journey
I find my work most satisfying when it challenges me in ways I didn’t expect
What I like best about the Grad Program
The amount of responsibility I’ve been given, although it was a little intimidating at the start, has been very rewarding and led to me gaining a massive variety of knowledge while working with amazing people.
