Great mix of work ethic and knuckling down, coupled with enjoyment and socializing. There is no big divides between management layers, besides knowing who to go to for approvals and loop in to make big business decisions.

Socialization is encouraged with a very interactive graduate program; through weekly grad huddles and each graduate being assigned a buddy who can help guide and show the ropes.
Everyone in the organization seems friendly and open to chat at any level.

The company culture is great with a majority of employees

Its good. Quite but good.

Honeywell's company culture is highly collaborative and supportive. In the office, there is a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous learning, with colleagues always willing to share knowledge and assist each other. After hours, the company fosters a sense of community through various social events and networking nights, which are great for building relationships and learning from peers.
The only reason I am giving a lower score is that I am almost always on site, so I miss out on some of the office culture. However, the culture in the office location is quite good, and there are several networking nights that offer opportunities for socializing and professional growth. The structure and hierarchy are clear, which helps in understanding roles and responsibilities, but there is also a lot of cooperation and teamwork across different levels.

No call after working hours, mostly work life balance.
Graduate, Melbourne - 31 May 2024
everyone is very nice, some keep to them selves and when engaged are willing to help/have a chat.
Graduate, Brisbane - 30 May 2024
The people are friendly and reasonable. There are a good number of shared hobbies and people seek to do things together in and around work hours. There is good support from the hierarchy but it also doesn't feel overbearing or too restrictive. Managers are available and easy to talk to.

I think the company culture is quite good, people in the office are quite friendly during office hours. In my team, I feel comfortable to speak candidly to my peers and the manager about problems I'm facing at work and beyond work. Team dynamics is positive, people are generally supportive. On the socialising front, most colleagues seem to be a bit more introverted and not that social. We do have occasionally drinks night organised for the office.
Graduate, Melbourne - 14 May 2024
There are lots of engineers in my area of the business so not the most social but that's fine. I know other parts of the business are more social so depends what you want.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 May 2024
Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, teams show a great deal of cooperation and teamwork especially towards new grads/ interns. There is a great deal of socialising that happens during lunch breaks and events
Graduate, Sydney - 08 May 2024

Graduate, Perth - 08 May 2024
Standard structure/hierarchy, not too many levels. Colleagues are all very helpful. High focus on teamwork and always willing to assist. Generally active socially with good attendance at work events.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2018
Everyone is extremely helpful and works to support eachothers goals Plenty of help for new grads Social events are planned
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Oct 2018
Very little social activity is organised in the office. There is friendly conversation that happens in the office, but that is all. Everyone works together due to the size of the office and blended roles.
Graduate, Adelaide - 21 Sep 2018
Great environment. Time spent with others in the company socially and a fair few work related outings. Lots of cooperation and teamwork. Being a big company there is always someone to ask and everyone is happy to help
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Sep 2018
There is a strong workplace culture for winning and suceeding at work. The social culture is not as strong. The amount of rework needs to be minimised by properly sharing information and lessons learnt.
Graduate, Sydney - 17 Sep 2018
Easy to collaborate / ask questions.
Graduate, Sydney - 17 Sep 2018
everyone knows everyone locally. Very accommodating of grads and supportive in general. Work hard, play hard. Very large company with very complex structure and lengthy reporting procedures and a lot of hoops to jump through. Clear expectations and progression path.
Graduate, Canberra - 17 Sep 2018
People are very respectful but also keep to themselves. Many intelligent people around will help instantly if you have a question. Lunchtime can be quite social especially for graduates. After hours socialising non-existent. Most people have very well balanced family/hobby/work lives, the flex working hours contribute to this. These is a fair amount of cooperation if you ask for it.
