Could be anything from writing a project proposal, to doing drawings, scoping and spacing the engineering of a new project, being on site decommission a site, establishing a new site, servicing an existing site, meeting with stakeholders and clients, meetings with business leaders, or formal training to upskill.

In general Honeywell takes care to ease you into your career and work with little stress, this can be a double-edged sword as confident and eager graduates may find Handover of responsibility can be slow. 4 months into the program I have completed a lot of training with more still to go which at times can make you feel like you're still at uni. But I have been shadowing & helping with the fulfilment of a massive project, with the prospect of much more to come.

Currently my day-to-day responsibilities evolve around upskilling myself my attending training's to better understand the application/services we provide our customers. I also work on conducting system analyses of site systems and creating estimates for software upgrades to provide to respective account managers. Some of my key day-to-day responsibilities as I learn all the technical aspects of my role will be to perform system upgrades at various sites to provide customers with Honeywell's latest HBS applications and services, and resolve technical issues that arise with applications.

As a graduate project engineer at Honeywell, I am primarily involved in the Western Sydney Airport project, focusing on security and Building Management Systems (BMS). My day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and troubleshooting technical issues. I also spend a significant amount of time on-site to oversee the implementation of systems, conduct inspections, and verify that everything aligns with the project specifications. This hands-on experience is invaluable in building my technical expertise and understanding of large-scale project management.

I like hands on experience and travelling different sites. But they try to limit the budget and doing very simple tasks in the office.

I'm a developer. My work involves developing new features, debugging existing problems as they arise, planning, meetings and discussions, knowledge sharing, pair programming.

A lot of exposure to different parts of the industrial engineering side, this being electrical, software and networking

My current role is highly administrative in nature, of the task given to me, the frequency of the tasks is not high, every now and then I get given a task. As of right now, there is not that much of a day to day responsibility. I tend to have small projects that I work on for some given amount of time.

Three months in and it is very chill. I've been at other companies where I was doing critical work from day one, but at Honeywell I have been able to ease into it a lot more.

Software - fixing defects, implementing new functionality, resolving customer issues

Varies between extremely busy and very quiet. I coordinate over multiple projects and sites - ensuring documentation is done, equipment is ordered and subcontractors/technicians are on site.

Interaction with customers and suppliers. Detailed design, implementation and testing

Network systems design configuration, pc hardware configuration, automation systems deployment.

Any stage of the software development cycle - normal day-to-day responsibilities for checking emails, attending meetings, admin related activities

Support project teams with design and engineering tasks. Coordinate third party services.
