There is an understanding and trust that people know their hours and will get their work done, as long as there is communication on work location, managers are lenient whilst still keeping you accountable for your tasks.

38 hour work week
Graduate, Brisbane - 27 Jun 2024
The role has the standard 38-hour work week with a hybrid/flexible work environment depending on the sort of work that needs to be completed. Upgrades or troubleshooting of issues that cannot be done remotely will require employees to visit site. Flexible hours for work are dependent on your role and an arrangement can be made specifically with your manager. Overtime paid work may be required time to time depending on customer needs for work to be conducted after hours, or if other urgent issues arise.

Very flexible. Wish I could WFH all the time
Graduate, Sydney - 06 Jun 2024
My work hours at Honeywell are fairly flexible. As long as I meet my required hours for the week, there is some flexibility in how I schedule my time. This allows me to manage my workload effectively and maintain a good work-life balance. The company understands the importance of flexibility, which is particularly helpful given the demanding nature of on-site work.

I tend to work the 9-5, occasionally, I find myself working additional hour but I tend to just reduce the working hours for the next day. Manager seems flexible with working hours, people in the team, can adjust accordingly so long as the total hours are met.

The company is flexible with when you do your hours, so for example I start earlier in the day and finish earlier, but I still have to do all my prescribed hours.

work is project dependent. I have long days if we are getting close to deadlines but all the extra hours I work I get back as time in lieue. Honeywell are appreciative of the extra effort and it doesn't go unnoticed.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Sep 2018
My company is very flexible into terms of hours and location. I can fit my hours to my schedule if required without any issues. My start and finish time is also completely open. However, on the negative this freedom combined with the amount of work generally ends up with me doing significantly more hours than booked.

As long as you do the core hours, the company is very flexible when you start / leave.
Graduate, Sydney - 17 Sep 2018
Most work is project based, there is times when you wont have anything to do and other times when you're flat out. Expected to work longer hours when necessary, reward hard work/long hours.
