With over one thousand organisations our Agri clients are at the core of what it means to Fuel New Zealand's prosperity. The Agri Accountant Graduate will work with the Agri team, focusing on New Zealand's rural and farming clients, providing support to Agri accounting work including interpretation of financial performance, bench marking, and financial advice.

You'll also support the growth of existing KPMG offerings to the Agribusiness market and how best to utilize the offerings most effectively. Regardless of what stage our Agri client’s are at we recognise their business won’t be standing still and our team will understand what it takes for them to be successful!

Within your first month at KPMG you’ll have:

  • Met your whole cohort, your buddy and completed an insightful induction
  • Been on Grad Camp, our culturally immersive induction held in a marae
  • Begun to understand what does and doesn’t makes rural New Zealand businesses tick

In your first six months at KPMG you’ll have:

  • Met your key clients and visited their farms or offices
  • Joined the social club at KPMG and attended activities like skiing, boat trips and mini golf
  • Met with the L&D team to prepare a further study plan and how it will fit around your work

By the end of your first year at KPMG you’ll have:

  • Made connections for life and worked on some amazing engagements
  • May have been asked to become a buddy for our new interns or grads
  • Fuelled New Zealand’s prosperity by supporting Agri clients that matters

We are open to candidates who are based in Christchurch, Timaru & Ashburton for this role!

As an Agri Accountant Graduate, you’ll have plenty of variety in your work which will make the most of your studies and passion for the Agri sector. This role will let you see how you’re making a difference and fuelling the prosperity of New Zealand’s small to medium rural businesses!
