Throughout o-week we have learnt about the company itself but also the technical side such as technologies and frameworks we use daily. We've also completed a compliance programme in which we've learnt about laws and regulations relevant to us.

The whole point of our grad program is to learn so we have lots of opportunities to learn. Informal training involves things like access to linkedin learning and we can often request whatever workshop we would like from members of the grad community. It terms of formal training, we have a learning budget that we can use to pay for books and courses.

If required, the company organises technical workshops (programming language, software development concepts). We also have learning buddies in addition to mentors. Because we have such a large pool of mentors and learning buddies, we get to learn from a wide range of personalities with different skill sets.

Some of the external training providers that MYOB partners with wouldn't be my first pick, but the internal training I've done has been amazing. We had an incredible workshop on giving and receiving feedback which dramatically improved my communication skills and allowed me to search out feedback that created rapid improvement in my technical skills.
