We have a really great grad cohort and have lots of support from each other and arrange lots of social activities.
The team are pretty good, I can ask lots of questions and get invited to lots of meetings.

Great culture and easy to access our more senior colleagues
5 + years in banking, Melbourne - 12 Sep 2024
In office is very good however, rearly a day when the entire team is in.
Graduate, Brisbane - 13 Aug 2024
The culture is very friendly and outgoing. Everyone is happy to catch up and make themselves available to graduates. Teamwork is essential and everyone has the opportunity to lead or take charge of a project. The team I am in likes to cross skill so that everyone in the team is able to perform certain tasks if anyone is away or leaves the team. The graduate culture is amazing and everyone is very social and happy to catch up.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Aug 2024
Culture is good, people are encouraged to work flexibly and how best suits them, and they are supported to do so. Some teams are quite close and will hang out outside of work, others less so. Hierarchy tends to be quite flat and encouraged to challenge ideas regardless of level. Socialising amongst graduates is great and occurs in the office and after hours.
Graduate, Sydney - 06 Aug 2024
The grad cohort is very social. Some teams are more social then others within the business but overall it's a fun place to work. I also feel supported to question process and feel comfortable being myself at work.
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Nov 2023
I have made some of my best friends at work. There is a very welcoming culture. I have been in many different teams during my time at the company and one thing i can say is the people are great. I don't feel as if there is a hierarchy, many times you will sit next to an executive and they will have a chat with you. After work drinks are always a great time during the warmer months.
Experienced, Melbourne - 17 Oct 2023
Culture is good but varies a lot between teams within same building. Sound structure and hierarchy everyone knows what they're doing and highly cooperative within and between teams. Socialising between colleagues is also super high. One team i've worked in culture didn't 100% fit my style was very work hard play hard and expected to come in every day, not what i had in mind when NAB advertised flexible working arrangements
Graduate - 12 Oct 2023
Culture depends a lot on which team you're in, but on the whole is very good. Lots of opportunities to socialise and have fun
Graduate, Melbourne - 12 Oct 2023
Working hours can be flexible as can anchor days in the office. It's really dependant upon the role you are in and your team. I feel my work schedule provides me enough flexibility and balance.
Graduate - 11 Oct 2023
Everyone is super friendly in office (even though I'm working remotely from Sydney as part of a Melbourne team), graduates would often coordinate office days to get lunch and catch up, and the graduate committee frequently organises all sorts of events (during and outside work) for graduates to connect and develop together.
Graduate, Sydney - 11 Oct 2023
current rotation: phones must be manned at all times meaning that team lunches are less frequent.
Graduate, Melbourne - 11 Oct 2023
My company is very supportive and flexible with my career aspirations.
Graduate, Sydney - 18 Mar 2021
Team members are very friendly and provide strong support structures for graduates and new-comers. After hours, the team culture is fantastic - with many post-work activities and events to get involved in.
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Mar 2021
Very friendly, everyone very happy to support and help. Slow movement back into the office (everyone very happy WFH). Broader team consists of multiple smaller teams responsible for various product or customer groups. Smaller teams each have a leader but the culture is very horizontal. Lots of collaboration between teams. Teams seem friendly with each other but no socialising outside of the office (as most yet to return). A traditional trivia (over zoom) was fun. Grad cohort is very social. Drinks every Friday and various other events (trivia night, picnics etc)
Graduate, Melbourne - 16 Mar 2021
With many people working at home currently this is difficult to comment on- everyone seems friendly, keep to themselves somewhat
Graduate - 12 Mar 2021
A great culture that understands people have lives outside of work. I work eight hours a day on average and they strongly discourage working overtime. Colleagues are very friendly and very open.
Graduate, Melbourne - 11 Mar 2021
9-5 expectation only, flexible hours
Graduate, Melbourne - 11 Mar 2021
Advocates for work/life balance Strong grad cohort
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Mar 2021
Both the teams I have been in have had fantastic cultures. Both have had a very caring, family atmosphere, and allow a lot of flexibility when commitments outside of work come up.
