About the role:
In this multidisciplinary graduate engineer opportunity, you'll be exposed to critical building systems that safeguard structures and occupants during emergencies. In the fire protection team, you'll contribute to the design of engineering systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, extinguishers, detection, and occupant warning systems. Your role will involve liaising with diverse stakeholders, collaborating with engineers in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, civil, structural, and fire safety disciplines, as well as external parties like architects, contractors, building authorities, and fire brigades.
Simultaneously, as a member of the hydraulics team, you'll be immersed in the design of water supply and drainage systems, covering potable and non-potable water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater/roof drainage, rainwater harvesting, and recycled water systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various stakeholders, such as engineers in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil, structural, and fire safety disciplines, as well as external parties like architects, contractors, and building and water authorities.
Both roles offer real-world industry experience, with site exposure on diverse projects, ranging from super high-rise towers and prisons to hospitals, laboratories, defense projects, retail/commercial developments, and education precincts.
