Gender Equality at New Zealand Steel

Diversity and Inclusion

Within NZPI we have 17.5% female participation in operations and a limited number within the trades.

Having a gender balanced workforce increases innovation, engagement and collaboration, leading to better problem solving and improved business results.

NZPI is dedicated to improving current participation rates and is actively introducing strategies which help open the pipeline for females coming into our industry. These strategies ensure that our future workforce will include the mothers, daughter, nieces, aunties and sisters of our wider community.
