P&g has a grow from within culture. there's lots of career progression available in multiple functions.

P&g has a fantastic approach where they consider someone being 'good' at their job as an indicator that it is time for them to move on and try something different in the company, rather than to stay in that job. this is a fantastic way to try new things, work out what you like and work your way up in the organisation.

Promotional opportunities are dependant on the business needs so it is generally a matter of proving yourself over a number of years then being in the right place at the right time. to move up you need to perform at your best and be very visible to the right people, talk up your successes and connect with the people in the know.

Reasonably difficult to move up the ranks. i recently got promoted from our nz to melbourne office in may. it takes hard work and showing you are agile to move up. it is easy to move from department to department to gain a wider skill set and understand various parts of the business
