I would say I do have a handful of people I would often meet outside of work hours - either for sports or for weekend brunch. Whereas, there are also people that I could always go to for advice in the office over a coffee chat. There are some social events here and there, however I noticed that people tend to stick to the people they already know (including me). Some of my close colleagues and I will always go for a coffee run whenever we are in the office.
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Sep 2024
We have a unique social event each month planned by the employee engagement committee, plus a monthly barbecue. Culture is friendly, but hardworking. Outside of hours have little to no contact with colleagues.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Aug 2024
I believe my immediate team environment is super supportive, willing to train and support my own personal development.
Culture is at the center of team management, and an important aspect of how my immediate team operates.
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
Inclusive culture. Flat structure. We can message people on teams without regard to status or hierarchy.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Aug 2024
Very positive people, everyone is friendly. Flexibility of working hours means there is rarely many people in at the same time resulting in a lack of culture. When everyone is in the culture is very welcoming and positive. If you want to do something, if you ask you generally will be afforded that opportunity.

The work culture at Schneider Benalla is very friendly and welcoming. We have a comparatively smaller team compared to larger cities like Melbourne, and we have a very diverse team with people from different cultural backgrounds, genders, and ages. This has allowed people to connect with each other closely and built strong social networks both in and out of work
Graduate, Benalla - 29 Aug 2024
The culture at Schneider is unmatched. The staff are overwhelmingly helpful, polite and accomodating. The flexible conditions to work from home or in office are also a great benefit. There are always great networking and team building events, as well as mingling opportunities like monthly birthday celebrations, webinars, expos etc.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Very open culture. People are very friendly and willing to let you have your personal space. Big focus on wellbeing and self care.
task oriented - working hours are not a KPI
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Aug 2024
All the graduates in my cohort are easy to get along with and my manager is extremely supportive in assisting me with my work and the development of my career.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Aug 2024
Everybody is chill; our working hours are pretty flexible. If we start early, we can finish early as well.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
There is a great degree of flexibility with work hours, however this is manager dependent, no expectation to be online after hours.
Teamwork within teams is great, cooperation across businesses and functions is a challenge. Big focus on inclusion and diversity as a part of culture, but still a lot to work on as not everyone buys into it. It feels quite superficial at times and performative.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
inclusive culture

I don't spend a lot of time socialising within the company, but for the events I've been a part of, I've really enjoyed them. They always feel planned out and it's great talking with my colleagues. The management chain is fairly easy to navigate and I've never had any issues with reaching out to the right people when I've needed to.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Aug 2024
Warm and inviting, there isn't anyone I've met who isn't up for a friendly chat. The office also has a volunteer team that plan events and provide work snacks. The grads here also hold outside hours socialization events like rock climbing and lawn bowls.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Aug 2024
Team is motivated, supportive and passionate.
Regardless of role, members are supportive and willing to explain and demonstrate tasks.
Cooperation within teams is fantastic.
Potentially competitiveness among younger graduates.
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Aug 2024
Relaxed, respectful atmosphere. Company provides birthday cakes per month for employees, and various events in office or within team.
Graduate, Brisbane - 16 Aug 2024
Culture is good. Everyone is very supportive and encouraging. We go out for coffees and lunches together. Celebrate project milestones and acknowledge the work done by each team member.

Work culture in Schneider Electric is great! Everyone is welcoming and eager to help. Everyone is authentic. It’s so easy to ask for help. Whenever you need help you can just send a teams message and jump on a call to discuss. As a global company, I would say it’s the most flat organisation. There’s vertically only 7 levels between a graduate to the CEO. There’s plenty of social activities in the office such as morning teas, team lunches, etc) and you can always organise after work catch-ups/dinners with your fellow graduates. The company is pro-growth, so there’s opportunities to develop your skill sets by working on a side project while completing your main duties in your role.

Company culture is dependent on the area you are in. For the most parts I was surrounded in a humanised environment, that involved lots of collaboration and interaction between team members. Other areas of business seem different to me, less interactive and more reserved. Out of hours, not too much happens - there isn't an expectation for you to work additional hours since we are graduates.
