Please describe the interview process and assessments.
Interview process and assessments were standard of what you would expect for a graduate program. Though, results of after assessments / contract provided could have been clearer on when the expected date was. Though, I do understand that with a large pool of applicants, and the intake of interns and graduates are only 2 months apart, the hiring team can get very busy.
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Sep 2024
Required submitting my resume, and then attending a 1 to 1 interview with the acting plant director at the time.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Aug 2024
Very smooth for external applicant, have approached many roadblocks with internal moves
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
Standard graduate hiring process. Initial resume/cover letter submission, video Interview & games, case study, and interview with the manager. Overall, I found the experience straight forward. They actually tailored the manager to interview me based on my answers in the video interview beforehand, which impressed me. However, I did hear that the candidates that did not receive an offer were left in the dark.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Aug 2024
Online interview with a recorded answer. Then an invitation to an assessment centre where we were asked to do a group presentation on short notice. Then individual interviews.
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
Graduate program process Stage 1 - recorded video interview with a couple of games for assessment Stage 2 - In-person or online interview with HR and manager
Graduate, Benalla - 29 Aug 2024
I started at Schneider as an intern, however my interview process was slightly different to most as I wasn't onboarded with the rest of the cohort at the start of the year, but rather towards the end of the year. This meant
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Applied directly to the Benalla office and conducted interview there Interview was well conducted with an HR representative on zoom. Answered a series of questions relating to the business and previous experience followed by factory tour. Normal graduate application process is different
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Aug 2024
The hiring process for myself was really impressive. The hiring process involved an online assessment, in-person group assessment and an interview. This process moved very smoothly and was completed quickly. Communication from each stage of the hiring process was satisfactory.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Aug 2024
The hiring process is straightforward compared to other companies' graduate programs. Typically, we only have three rounds: online application, online assessment and interview and the final assessment centre and 1-on-1 interview (on the same day).
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Overall hiring and induction was great. Did not waste time - assessment centres and interviews were conducted on the same day. Very interactive sessions and streamlined.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Two rounds, first is online interview, second is offline which includes group interview and personal 1 to 1 interview.
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Aug 2024
The recruitment process wasn't overly difficult. I applied back as an intern and HR made the process of interviewing very simple and effective. We spent time talking with our prospective manager and learnt about the roles I'd be performing and the team. When moving into my Graduate role, I spent a lot of time communicating internally and was able to move into my new role without requiring an interview or assessment step.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Aug 2024
It started with an online interview in which a question was asked, a few minutes was given to come up with an answer and then the answer recorded. Following with some simple logic and maths games I assume to assess capability. Once this round was passed the next step was a tour of the office and an in person interview. After this interview the job was offered.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Aug 2024
Interview process was efficient and detailed.

Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
It was an informal chat with the manager while he did have some standard interview questions prepared. For example, why do you want to join the team and Schneider Electric? Are you willing to learn?
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Aug 2024
Questions regarding the Schneider Electric values and how my past experiences have shown I can demonstrate these vales. Interview was very relaxed and friendly.
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
STAR questions No technical questions as I was a graduate with no technical experience
Graduate, Benalla - 29 Aug 2024
The interview was quite standard, with questions about my prior experience and skills I gained, how my university degree would apply to the role, what drew me to apply at Schneider, how I work in groups vs individually etc. I was also given scenarios and asked how I would overcome them, e.g 'If you were in a uni group project, and your team members were not contributing their fair load of work, how would you react and what steps would you take.'
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Previous experience, Suitability for role, Priorities for career advancement, Alignment with business values
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Aug 2024
Cannot exactly remember, due to the hiring process being completed more than a year ago now. However, questions were around the topics of experience at university, experience outside of university and what Schneider Electric had to offer.

The one I can remember is that how different you feel in the university and work in a professional setting.
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Aug 2024
It's been so long since I interviewed for my role I honestly can't remember what I was asked. I just know that they were always relevant to my studies at university and how I handled working in a team environment. They also encouraged me to ask questions back about the role.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Aug 2024
Pretty standard interview stuff, What is a project you've had to work on before? What is a time you've had to work with someone you had a disagreement with? I can't remember exactly what the questions were but that's pretty much what they were.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Aug 2024
Experience and education. Scenarios in previous jobs/university where I faced challenges/specific tasks. My strengths My passions
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Aug 2024
What do you think put others' task in your priority list?
Graduate, Brisbane - 16 Aug 2024
Video interview generally asked the standard interview questions such as: Why do I want to join Schneider? What do you know about Schneider? In the final interview, it was more of a casual conversation where the interviewer asked some general behavioural questions, but they mostly talked about my experience.

Schneider Electric is a big company made up of different businesses. You should research a business unit that you want to do a rotation in. It lets the hiring team know the best team to put in based on your skills and your interests.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Aug 2024
Research the six values heavily and have pre-prepared examples of how you have previously demonstrated them at work/university.
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Aug 2024
Research the company, speak to other grads about what they enjoy, look into the values and CSR statements the business has, think about how you can link your skills and knowledge from uni to your role.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Engage with the core values of the company. Read them beforehand and reflect on how they're important to you. Think deeper than the surface level and really try to get at how they align with your values.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Aug 2024
Just be yourself and practice the STAR interview response technique.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Aug 2024
Be confident and be who you are. I understand interviews may put pressure on people, but everyone is different. You might think someone has some essential skills that you don't have. But you also have skills and shining points that others may not have. I suggest preparing some behavioural questions and having a deep understanding of Schneider Electric.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Always have a story to tell. Prepare interview responses for common/basic questions - have powerful points. Don't just focus on positives, it is fine to do negatives when asked but you have to end on a positive note - what was learned from the negative?
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Research the company background in advance and prepare for the questions that are shared through public method.
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Aug 2024
I'd say enjoy having a conversation with the hiring manager. The hiring managers want to get to know you and see how you align with the company, and the best way to do that is to be authentic.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Aug 2024
Try to work out what's unique about you. What do you offer that someone else doesn't? Being able to properly advertise your strengths will mean much more than how you did in school.
Graduate, Brisbane - 21 Aug 2024
Have self awareness and ensure you know what you can bring to the organisation and program. This way the interview process will be more natural and motivating.
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Aug 2024
Prepare often-asked questions, introductions, and know about the company
Graduate, Brisbane - 16 Aug 2024
