Leave my house and walk to the nearest train station. Fire up a podcast.

Get on the train and play a mobile game to pass the time. Or work from home get up, get ready, and have some breakfast!

Arrive at the train station. Start walking to the office and grab a trim, flat white at a café along the way. Or work from home using my coffee machine to make flat whites for my partner and me.

9.00 AM

Startup my computer and enjoy my coffee as I check my emails for the morning. This usually results in a small checklist of tasks I know I need to do for the day, possibly including some troubleshooting for another team member.

10.00 AM – 12.00 PM

Time for quick catchups, but mostly programming and code reviews.

Weekly project catchup time. This is where we go over what’s in the project backlog and talk about where we’re at and where we need to be. If there’s time after, have another coffee!

Once a week, catch a taxi to a nearby school club where student creators are using one of our software products. While there, I assist students who are using our product. They provide some feedback and find bugs in our product! Or Work from home Log in to the school club’s remote Zoom call!

5.15 PM

Catch a taxi to the train station to make my way home! Or work from home swap my computer accessories and monitors over to my personal PC.

6.25 PM

Start cooking dinner. Enjoy the new episode of Only Connect (if there is one).

8.00 PM

Play some video games. Either Stardew Valley by myself or League of Legends with my partner.

9.30 PM

Squeeze in some self-study on Unity.

11.00 PM

Get ready for bed and get some sleep for the next day!
