We have created a new graduate position for a People and Culture Coordinator looking to establish a career in HR. You will be joining a small, friendly and collaborative People team and will work across both HR and People and Culture supporting our staff through the employee lifecycle.

This role is so varied that no day will be the same and you’ll keep learning as you put your theoretical knowledge into practice. Your key tasks will involve general HR & recruitment administration support including employment contracts, variation letters, and onboarding of new employees, coordinating, and administering People and Culture related activities such as employee well-being activities and becoming a key SME of our HRIS system (ELMO).

You will bring passion, enthusiasm and a bright and sharp mind to this role and will have that “can do” attitude with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump in where needed. You like being proactive and are not afraid to show initiative. 

In order to be considered you’d need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline(with an academic transcript)
  • Some foundational understanding of HR and employment law
  • Familiarity with the employment lifecycle with an eagerness to continue learning
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Technically savvy, ie. MS Office Suite and other IT systems
  • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Helpful nature, confident and friendly with the ability to build good relationships
  • Desire to work in a small team
