Culture at Toll Global Express

Management is very supportive, and focused on learning and teaching.

Most colleagues are friendly and welcoming. Amongst the other Grads, it is common for us to go out for meals after hours.

A very inclusive workplace. Everyone is happy to have a quick chat.

Operational sites are often a mixture of blue and white collar environments, so most people are quite down to earth.

The company culture is good, people are nice and welcoming.

The team I am currently based in has great people with a very positive culture. I look forward to coming into work every day of the week! I feel safe to ask questions and challenge certain ways of working. This helps me understand our business and intricacies. Trust is high and there is encouragement to be proactive and do things differently.

The culture varies from site to site, what remains the same is that change for the better is evident, which provides many opportunities to improve. There is generally good teamwork between colleagues, but there is always room for improvement.

The culture in the offices varies distinctly from site to site, which is one of the exciting aspects as well as challenges of working at Toll. My experience has been different across the two sites I have been at so far. One had a very high performing culture, with group accountability at the forefront. The other site has a much different culture - one of just getting the job done. Seeing how these cultures differ and how they affect the output has been a fantastic learning experience. �Outside of the office, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and sociable. There are plenty of events and employee's regularly see each other outside of working hours.

Overall the people are amazing to work with, from managers to admin staff they are passionate about what they do, they work with a smile and make you feel as part of their team. You are encouraged to be able to develop and contribute to the site. They help in disseminating knowledge and equip us with information to be successful professionally.

In the office, people are friendly and the office has a 'homey' feel. It is not easy sometimes to become part of the group because most employees have been working in the company for a long time but once you are able to get in the group, the team is very nice. The managers in general are approachable and helpful. Teamwork and cooperation are okay but can be improved especially for the industry where my company is at.
