We have graduate opportunities starting in February 2021 for Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce and Business graduates who are inspired by the possibility of a career with a global leader in sustainable packaging and resources industry.

Our two-year Graduate Program provides an opportunity for each graduate to experience three diverse workplaces, supported throughout by development and regular mentoring with established leaders within Visy's business.

There are six specific pathways that have three rotations in the following locations:

  1. Electrical Engineering / Robotics and/or Mechatronics – Tumut, NSW; Smithfield, NSW; Coolaroo VIC
  2. Logistics and Supply Chain Management – Albury, NSW; Clayton, VIC; Somerton, VIC
  3. Mechanical Engineering – Yatala, QLD x2; Carole Park, QLD
  4. Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering – Springvale, VIC; Laverton, VIC; Spotswood, VIC
  5. Sales and/or Marketing – Southbank, VIC x3
  6. Robotics and/or Mechatronics – Essendon Fields, VIC; Epping, VIC; Coolaroo, VIC

What you bring to the team:

A Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce and Business gained within the previous 18 months, specialising in either of the following disciplines:

  • Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
  • Robotics and/or Mechatronics / Data Control Systems
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Sales and/or Marketing

Graduation results or overall course average of 65 - 74% WAM (Credit) is preferred.

Visy's selection process will include:

  • Completing an ability and psychometric assessment in early November
  • Virtual assessment centre in late November
  • Interviews with Visy leaders in early December
  • Referee, pre-employment medical and criminal-record checks

Pros

  • My co-workers and managers are always describing all processes to a high level of detail and we are able to tour the sites,allowing me to gain a high understanding of many aspects of the business.

Cons

    • Sometimes it can get a little slow but it’s sure to pick right back up again shortly .

    • Long working hours can mean you need to manage your work-life balance.

    • It can be demanding at times where I have to work long hours.
