Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
I have felt very accepted as a minority. People are very understanding and there is an active effort to include a Te Ao Maori lens over the work that we undertake. I have been able to get work for religious holidays and there are employee led networks for women, Pasifika and pride networks for people to find their community at work.

Good diversity around the workplace. There are employee-led networks for wahine, pride, etc which host catch-ups, social events, learning moments etc.

There are many communities for all people and where they can fit e.g. wahine network, pride network, young professionals network etc. Groups are also respected by all. There are lunch learnings about these groups where they discuss what's going on and raises awareness.

There is good commitment, stemming from the executive level, for diversity and inclusion. There are a number of employee led networks. The CHCH office seems to have the least representation of any of the offices, particularly in the rainbow space.

Everyone in the work place is politically correct and will not make disrespectful remarks to any of the groups mentioned. When issues like these arise, HR will often step in and will take the cases very seriously. On a less serious note, all unions support these groups and there are even some smaller groups within the company which allows for these groups to gather and identify. Some weekly ELT discussions and employee lead learning moments are also provided where the rest of the company can show their support and learn.

Recruitment is fulfilling its role for diversity well, however, I think it will take time to see the benefits in management.

Younger cohorts reflect this but hard to filter diversity through organisation. Acceptance varies. employee networks are well supported. Employer could be more neurodiversity affirming in hiring and office space design (close desks, bright lighting) and equipment like noise-cancelling headsets.

Very good leadership from the top. I feel like this is signaled as a major priority from senior leadership.

I think we do well to celebrate diversity, including through recognising and acknowledging weeks/celebrations eg LGBTQ+ history month. We also have employee networks for women, the rainbow community, te reo Māori learning
