Flexible working environment, I provide advice relating to conflicts of interest and assist in integrity investigations. However I do not undertake strictly legal work which I would like some experience in as a legal graduate. Work across the risk and assurance team to assist where necessary, a lot of the work can be ad hoc and responsive.

My tasks feel meaningful, and I have been given the chance to work on and contribute to organizationally important activities; I have not been lumped with the menial tasks no one else wants.

Reviewing designs for different projects within the stormwater technical discipline, reading emails and ensuring that I am kept up to date with what is going on in different projects I am apart of, attending numerous meetings for projects when required, working on individual projects during off-meeting hours and when free from capital project work, assisting in completing work given to me by my team members, occasional site visits to reinforce my understanding within the engineering field, and attending graduate programme meetings to stay in contact with my network of graduates (Setup by the graduate progamme).

Every day is truly different, some days I am writing up a PowerPoint, others I'm in meetings all days. Some times I am even just sitting and reading up everything that I need to learn. I keep a goals and work plan close by so that I can just track my progress so I try every week to update that too.
