What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Great pay for a graduate - with opportunities for uplift as you progress through the programme.
Graduate, Wellington - 12 Sep 2024
Pay is satisfactory, uplifts at the end of rotations are motivating and rewarding.
Graduate, Wellington - 10 Sep 2024
For a graduate role, it's definitely good pay. Every 8 months in the program, you get the opportunity to get a significant pay increase. Then once the program is over and yo have a role, you can get into another higher pay band. There are heaps of benefits as well
Graduate, Christchurch - 10 Sep 2024
As it is a public sector organisation, there are no bonuses. Salary is standard for a graduate programme.
Graduate, Christchurch - 10 Sep 2024
As a graduate, the pay is extremely good in comparison to other companies (in my opinion). The pay raises are very consistent and a minimum salary is also provided at the end of your graduate program. Bonuses are not applicable to graduates.
Graduate, Auckland - 09 Sep 2024
When comparing my pay with other graduate roles, I'm very happy.
Graduate, Auckland - 06 Sep 2024
No bonuses, seems good to have uplift pay every 8 weeks that seems competitive/industry average.
Graduate, Christchurch - 04 Sep 2024
I feel the starting salary for a graduate is about 12-15% less than it should be. There are no bonuses but some of the perks are good, although there could be more, being a government organisation.

Happy for a graduate role.
Graduate, Auckland - 10 Dec 2022
Overall the salary is good and competitive with other grad positions, however living in Wellington I do find my budget stretched as rent is very expensive. Recent increases in inflation have also eroded my purchasing power so it would be nice to be paid a bit more to compensate for high living costs.
Graduate, Wellington - 10 Dec 2022
The grad salary is competitive as a starting salary, but grads working at private companies will get more frequent payrises and progress faster in this respect. There are no bonuses
Graduate, Auckland - 18 Oct 2022

Graduate, Wellington - 13 Oct 2022
For a graduate role it is satisfactory, a large pay rise from the jobs that I have worked in previously.

It is a good pay for a graduate role.

Fairly compensated for my experience
Graduate, Wellington - 22 Mar 2022
There aren't many bonuses as it's public sector. The pay for a formal role is good as compared to the industry. The bonus is life and health insurance and allowance for a pair of glasses.
Graduate, Auckland - 22 Mar 2022
There is no financial bonuses. however, base pay for my experience is really good.
