How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Workload is very manageable and there is a lot of flexibility to take on more/less hours and work depending on the circumstances and the need at the time.

I work 40 hours a week. If I need to work less than 8 hours on a particular day (e.g. to attend an appointment), I can make up the hours on another day.

I work a 40 hour work week. There is flexibility in the organisation when it comes to hours. If you need to take some time off for an appointment or if something pops up, there is flexibility to manage this. I'm also able to work from home or in the office, whatever my preference is.

My team specifically is very flexible with hours. Provided all work is been completed effectively and efficiently, the number of hours worked is not given much consideration. This is slightly less flexible outside my team, but still objectively very flexible.

Work hours are extremely flexible with compulsory office hours being between 9:30-3:30 and a trust based system without time sheets. Work from home days are extremely flexible and allows us to work from home any day of the week, except anchor days for our team. That being said, it has been encouraged for us to go into the office at least 2-3 times a week.

Flexible enough. Many employees start before 9am and finish before 5pm, retaining some time in the evenings to head home and relax.

We have a hybrid work environment. This works well for being able to work and be involved with projects from anywhere in New Zealand.

The organisation is very flexible in what time you can start and finish given you work the standard number of hours and get your work done. I could fit appointments in and make up the time later. I can choose to work from home when I want as well.

We have a hybrid working arrangement so we are free to work from home or from the office as much as we want. There is great flexibility with hours as well, you are not expected to be at work 9-5. Lots of flexibility around start and finish times. You just need to chat with your manager and find a solution that will work for both of you.

I work a straight 40 hours. However, I can choose what hours I work. I like to start at 8am-8.30 so I can finish early. I know someone who likes to sleep in so he starts at 10am

It is very flexible which is nice to be able to WFH when desired/necessary.

The hours are very flexible. There is a set period of hours where you generally are expected to be available but Waka Kotahi understand that people may start earlier or finish later compared to other people. There is no expectation as a graduate to work more than the standard 40 hour week.

We have flexible working hours, and we can come into the office or stay at home as much as we like.

It's very flexible and you have autonomy to manage your day without needing to record on paper.

Depending on who your manager is, we were able to have a lot of flexibility. As long as we get our work done, meet deadlines and have time for personal improvement, then there is not a lot of issues.
