We’re looking for a Graduate:
Degrees that fit in Regions:
Our Graduate roles are for those completing their relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree by the end of 2025 with less than one year of relevant work experience as a Graduate (internships do not count toward the one-year maximum).
If you have more than one year of work experience as a Graduate, please instead apply for a role of interest through our careers site.
We don’t simply employ Graduates; we foster and enrich them. Naturally, there is a lot to learn, and you will likely be guided through complex software packages, team briefings, and client updates from the start.
You’ll also have access to our award-winning Graduate Development Programme. With our two-year programme, you own your career and drive your success. We provide you with the tools, support, and environment to flourish.
On a day-to-day basis, the life of a graduate at WSP typically starts in the morning with a walk, bike, or drive to the office, and then a response to any urgent client emails. Beyond that, anything could happen!
You could be involved in report writing, modelling, or design calculations in 3D software packages. Your day could also involve visiting sites and liaising with contractors, discussing options for concept designs with colleagues, responding to client requests for information, or meetings with the team about the scope and progress of projects.
Our teams play a pivotal role in regional development by driving innovation, infrastructure growth, and economic stability, ultimately contributing to the prosperity and well-being of local communities in the regions. We not only contribute to the sustainable development of local communities but also uphold a sense of responsibility and respect for the cultural and environmental values that define each area we work in. Our mission is to ensure that every project we undertake aligns with the broader goal of making regions more vibrant, resilient, and prosperous for the benefit of both present and future generations.
Working in the regions offers a multitude of unique advantages. The cost of living is lower than in metropolitan areas. The pace of life is slower, offering a more relaxed work-life balance. The sense of community is strong in the regions, providing a supportive and connected environment. With fewer crowds and congestion, commuting is less stressful and more time efficient. Most importantly, many regions are experiencing economic growth, and opportunities for career advancement and entrepreneurship are on the rise.
