Intern Opportunities: 

We are recruiting for Civil Geometrics Engineering Intern in Auckland. 

Our Geometrics Engineering experts are an integral part of our Highways & Bridges team; their work ensures that our infrastructure is safe and efficient. We work on a variety of transportation projects, delivering renowned and innovative projects. 

As a Geometric Engineering Intern, you will assist with: 

  • Geometric design of transport infrastructure including public transport, walking cycling, shared paths, or similar to make the safest most economical design within the parameters of the appropriate standards. 
  • Create 3D models incorporating the design inputs from the various design disciplines (e.g. geotechnical, drainage, structures, etc.) for information outputs e.g. drawings and electronic construction models. 
  • Assist the team and project managers by developing good working relationships with clients during the delivery of projects
  • Develop good relations with your team and other teams across multiple business areas and locations.

Requirements for Success 

  • Undertaking a relevant Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree for the role you are applying.
  • Be in your penultimate year or earlier of study at an Australian or New Zealand University.
  • Able to commence work from mid-November 2024 to mid-February 2025 (Flexible)
