I have worked on a CSR project that involved being the MC of an open day for the Otahuhu College students during their visit to the office. There is great opportunities for CSR and often your team will plan one together for group bonding.

There is a strong push for promoting ESG in all aspects of our work. They always hold workshops and apply policies that makes sure it is integrated in out work and actions

We get a day of leave for CSR events. Our most commonly used one in the office is managing a small section of native bush in Hamilton that we sponsor, attending plantings, pest management, and general maintenance alongside Hamilton City Council. In the past with other teams I have helped with the Auckland Mission and beach cleanups

. I haven't been too aware of CSR in projects

Inclusion and encouragement of CSR events e.g. volunteer day

There are many office activities which are fun.

Volunteer days and we held a day for the Wonder Project, allowing a class of intermediate kids to come to the office and learn about what we do as a company.

The company has committees specifically for this

Yeah pretty good. Lots of initiatives like November, volunteer days, pink ribbon, etc, etc.

Lots of volunteering/donation matched opportunities. It is up to people to voluntarily organise these things but they are supported to do so if they wish

There's a day of leave people can take once a year to volunteer.

We have several policies in place for our CSR, one in particular is all employees are given a day of leave to volunteer. In our office this is mostly used for managing a reserve that our office has sponsored. This involves wedding, planting and managing pests at the site.

Good opportunity to help out communities; however, I think AECOM should drive this more as a lot of people in the office still haven't done anything for CSR.
