If AECOM can keep its promise on decreasing carbon on projects they are part of, it will mean the company will have a large impact on climate change.

Hearing ESG is quite common with a lot of info and representatives to help reduce emissions and integrate ESG into all aspects of work. ScopeX is also an initiative that AECOM has which has impressive results so far

We have recently changed our company vehicles to a single PHEV. Our business is mindful of its carbon footprint and has been working, mainly on the power and digital aspects, to reduce this.

Sustainability is one of my passions and AECOM's efforts in the area were a significant reason for choosing it as my grad role. All my projects have had a ESG aspect as it is no longer an option to add onto a project. It is essential now and an integral part of most businesses' strategies.

Pretty standard, doesn't seem above and beyond, but also not too little.

We have a priority for projects that encompass, environment, society and governance. We put in a lot of effort to work on projects that are sustainability focused, such as Vehicle Kilometres Travelled. Additionally we are having changes, mostly to our movements, within the offices, with the switch to energy efficient hybrid vehicles.

Participating in public transport infrastructure projects is as green as a crop can get so I appreciate that.

Reducing travel, being more efficient with office space, green options, discussing carbon reducing options with clients. These are constantly brought up which will make them a habit and hence be more effective
