The agency is very supportive of diversity. It also has some good workplace policies to help people work more flexibly according to their personal situation.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
I believe the agency has a traineeship program to hire students straight out of high school, those from less disadvantaged backgrounds or those who have been out of the workforce for some time.

For ATSI they have trainee programs, where they train you up and make sure you are settled in Canberra

Targeted programs for some groups, I don't know of any discrimination within the agency.
