Please tell us about promotion possibilities and fill us in on what it takes to move up the ranks.
Moving from an intern, there are opportunities. However, not a grad program means it is difficult for many to progress into a full-time position.
Intern, Auckland - 03 Sep 2024
I have seen many people around me able to get promotions and have career progression here at Foodies which is awesome. I have also been given opportunities where I have been able to work in a team, I am passionate about and gain exposure for a short period of time
Full time role, Auckland - 20 Aug 2024
I personally think I still have a lot to learn before moving up the team or across the company to a different role. So if there is anything that is stopping me, it is myself. If I wanted to and am confident enough, those promotions are not really hard to come by as our team has quite the turnover. My managers are especially very supportive about moving up the team or even to a different team. They can set us up for the opportunities and I have been offered to be set up with several times already. I just still find it fulfilling to encounter new challenges in my current role so it might take a bit more time before I will take up the offer for career progression opportunities.
Graduate, Auckland - 19 Aug 2024
From the start, I knew that there was no graduate position available. However, my boss and team were extremely helpful throughout the recruitment processes I entered into earlier this year, and helped me springboard to land an excellent position as my next job. My team was 1000% rooting for my success!

Feels a little slow at times but at the same time conscious that I've just started and there's still a long way to go.
