As an intern, my day-to-day activities varied, but typically I would arrive to the office at 8:30 in the morning and greet everyone. Reading my emails and checking in with my team leader are first on the list. Throughout my day I complete a range of jobs including creating job ads, going through job applicants, candidate profiles, online and in-person screenings and reference checks.

Recruitment & HR
Fuse is a tech-focused recruitment agency that services the insurance, wealth management, IT, manufacturing, infrastructure & utilities industries.
The best thing about working here is the people. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming and always willing to help when it comes to the work I do.
Every day I learn something new. I am able to learn valuable skills for future employment.
The team is flexible and accommodating. There are opportunities for WFH [Work From Home].
The culture of the workplace is awesome with flexible work arrangements and work environment.
My managers are always accessible and great mentors. All communication is done face to face and they give the right amount of recognition.
The commute is 1hr 15 minutes in the morning and evening which is what I found difficult.
The thing I least enjoy is trying to call potential candidates with no response. The process of leaving the same message over and over gets frustrating.
I wish I would've had more time to get involved with the more challenging tasks.
I was an unpaid intern so [pay] doesn’t apply to me.
It would be nice if there were more tasks I could do so I can learn more.
