We are currently seeking a graduate level Digital Systems Analyst with exceptional tech skills to join our National Digital Ag Team on a permanent full-time basis. The primary purpose of this position will be to support the implementation and effective use of technology and systems with our agronomy team around the country and analyse and report on data to provide insights and opportunities.

To be considered for this role you will have graduated prior to the commencement of January 2024 or no longer than four years ago with a minimum of a Diploma in Agriculture, Ag Science, Environmental Science or a relevant field. This role will be based out of our Docklands, VIC office however this role will include some regional Victorian and interstate travel to support our broad agronomy team.

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to move locations or be based out of our regional Wagga Wagga branch. This is all part of ensuring you get the most out of your experience with us.

About the opportunity:

You will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting our network of agronomists across the country in effectively utilising appropriate farm management and precision ag software – this includes onboarding, training, troubleshooting and collaboration with software providers.
  • Assisting agronomists to implement relevant tools and data that facilitate better, easier in-field decisions.
  • Supporting team administration – including document management, invoice processing, reporting, liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Analysing and reporting on different data sets to provide insights and opportunities.
  • Processing spatial farm data such as yield data, soil survey data and maps for agronomic outcomes.
  • Aid with continuous improvement of systems and processes as well as data collection and utilisation.

About You:

  • You will demonstrate a willingness to learn, a proactive approach, strong communication skills and a passion for agriculture.
  • You will be able to demonstrate customer service, attention to detail, problem solving and leadership capabilities.
  • You will have skills within the implementation and successful use of technology, you will have the ability to analyze and interrogate data and make recommendations.
  • You will have GIS skills and knowledge
  • You will understand relevant farming systems and farming enterprises
  • You will demonstrate ability to prioritise and effectively work in a fast-paced and changing environment
