About the role: 

We are currently on the hunt for a HR Graduate to join our Docklands team on a full-time basis. For the first 12 months, this role will be embedded within our Learning & Development (L&D) team reporting into the L&D Manager, and beyond the 12 months will then pivot into other arms of our National Human Resources team. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who has recently graduated from a degree in Human Resources or a related degree and is looking to grow their technical knowledge and capability within a supportive network.

Reporting into the Learning & Development Manager, the Graduate will support the development and conduct of programs, resources and learning content to help employees develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities to safely excel in their roles. In addition, this role will assist in managing the digital learning systems including learning management system (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS).

A day in the life of:

  • Support the Learning and Development Manager with building training packages for corporate programs and facilitating delivery face to face and via LMS
  • Organise individual and group-based training activities including soft skills, technical and compliance training
  • Manage the LMS to ensure accurate and complete records of training (including company workshops, conferences, webinars, etc.) are kept and reports produced as required
  • Assist with project work in L&D and helping with induction training for new employees

What we are looking for 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly
  • Strong ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Willingness to travel interstate and regionally.
