Culture at PwC NZ

8.2
8.2 rating for Culture, based on 5 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
From my experience, people are really open about socialising and having fun with each other - hierarchy rarely matters during and outside of office hours.

I really enjoy the culture in my team. We host a variety of events throughout the week to ensure we stay connected. This includes a weekly team stand up, Anchor Days and coffee/kai catch ups. We also run regular 'lunch and learns' where we hear about awesome mahi that others have been working on. I like that we're encouraged to reach out to our team mates for help and support.

In the Napier office it is great chance to get to know your peers across all levels of hierarchy as we are a small office with open floor seating. So some days I can sit next to a partner. We go out altogether after work hours which is nice and we all make an effort to socialise at lunchtime. We do the Stuff quiz everyday at lunch.

My team is great, but I know of other teams where there is very hierarchical, no questions asked, overtime expected culture
