Rohde & Schwarz was established in Germany in 1933 and has since grown to become a $3 billion global company that develops and manufactures a wide range of electronic goods for industry, infrastructure operators, defence and government customers. Rohde & Schwarz is a privately owned global company with circa 12,000 workers and a leader in the design and manufacture of solutions for test and measurement, broadcast and media, secure radio communications, cybersecurity, radio monitoring and radio location.
We sell our equipment to both government and private organisations, design, integrate our products deliver systems engineering solutions and provide local calibration and testing service options within our ISO and NATA-accredited on-site labs. The independent group is among the technology leaders in military voice and data communications, cybersecurity and network technology.
Here are examples of what we do:
Our growing integration facility in Sydney is equipped with a highly capable electronic calibration lab. Rohde & Schwarz started as a radio frequency test and measurement company and we still play a major role worldwide in that field. Our test and measurement equipment is used to certify performance, EMC, and EMI in satellite systems, automotive radars, military radars including AESA, and mobile networks including 5G.
Rohde & Schwarz continues its Australian investment to secure the digital sovereignty of the capabilities we provide – combining German technology with Australian engineering and ingenuity. We intend to grow both the breadth and depth of our capabilities in Australia.
We are the quiet achievers; we’re part of the story but never the story ourselves.
Join us and we can introduce you to the art of the possible right from the analysis of operational requirements, system design and production up to system commissioning and lifetime support.
