Veolia’s Graduate Program develops a future generation of leaders through meaningful rotations, development weeks that include site visits across our Australian footprint, an innovation challenge, and networking with our local and global Alumni.
Participants have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves into the company as Veolia provides them with challenging and fulfilling work in three rotations across different environments throughout the two-year program.
Graduates are well equipped with professional and leadership skills with dedicated development weeks, mentoring by subject matter experts and senior leaders, and support from Graduate Alumni - paving the way for a successful and rewarding career at Veolia.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
You're eligible for our Graduate Program if you are completing your studies in 2023, and are ready to join the program full-time in 2024. You can also apply if you have completed your studies up to 24 months prior to your program commencement. Graduates must also hold Australian working rights.
It is a very international company. We have colleagues from different background.
Currently working on a variety of engineering projects related to the operation and improvement of water treatment plants.
Now I am in a fleet admin rotation - I raise POs in 2 systems, ensure invoices are paid on time, organise benefit cards, procure quotes for all types of equipment, manage lease extensions and a range of other tasks.

Sometimes I think the amount of work they are able to give to a graduate level employee is a bit limited - sometimes means a bit of downtime. Not a terrible thing, but more learning opportunities would be good.
HR can be rather slow sometimes.
Operates within a male-dominated industry. Can be difficult to get in contact with the right person or create change as the company is very large.
On-site project work can be long and challenging.
You can often feel a number in the masses in large companies so it's hard to stand out in good ways and it can therefore get overwhelming.
