Salary at Stantec Australia

Not bad

Less pay than I was expecting given I earnt more per hour as a casual in hospitality than in the grad program

A lot of people make jokes about our pay and consider it lower than we should be getting. I am surprised by this, maybe I am just naive but it feels like the average pay for this field and I am not disappointed by it.

Pay is competitive for this position.

Given the current living costs, I am ok with my pay given it is my first year as a grad but I would like a pay rise next year.

Based on my personal opinion, I would say, it's at average or above average.

Salary is okay. and Company doesn't pay any bonuses.

Pay is good and at the level expected as a graduate engineer. The company spot bonus policy is a great incentive to put in the effort and complete great work for the client!

When they notice some employees work extremely hard trying to get the submission out. Those should get bonuses but not people who talk a lot.

The salary for this position is ok but not ideal, especially if you are living in a big city like Sydney.

The pay I get as a graduate civil engineer is on the high end of industry standard and appropriate pay raises are given yearly.

Stantec is on the low end of pay. Could be better

Pay rates are considered to be very appropriate for the graduate role that I have, so I have no complains!

The system seems to prioritise the budget for bringing in new people rather than keeping existing employees.

I think I am around the average so i am satisfied with my pay. I am not aware of the bonus scheme at this time

As a graduate i don't have a very good understanding of pay and bonuses at a corporate job. I don't have complaints though.

I appreciate the compensation, given my career level and experience prior to starting at Stantec. The added responsibilities I've taken on early in my career, it would be great to see more alignment between effort and compensation within our team dynamic. I'm eager to reach an intermediate level, strategically aligning my goals and skills to enhance my chances of receiving bonuses and positive performance reviews, thereby increasing my earning potential.

There are good work mid year and end of year events. There are some other perks but they're not well advertised and are more difficult to attain.

Free Beer every Friday after work

We do have very generous leave policies which I am very grateful for. We also get to go to a fair bit of industry events/conferences which is quite good.

Free dinners

There is salary packaging options available. Company does do salary sacrifice for additional leave (to cover school holiday periods) for employees that have children.

Stantec has benefit for staff to purchase private health insurance with a great discount.

There is free lunch and team drinks provided regularly.

Not much cool perks

None come to mind, maybe Im just unaware of them, but I don't think Stantec provides that many perks

My company does a great job on these perks, everything is covered for you workwise and training wise. The company really pays attention to these policies, and I can't ask for more

No unusual Perks at all.

Corporate dinners and lunches are really nice. Can claim ubers for going to and from site or when working late in the office can claim ubers home. Access to corporate health insurance policies.

I am not currently aware of these as of yet - my own laziness at looking for them

So many networking events for developing professionals and generous leave policies..

We have a lot of social opportunities and team activities that are often paid for by the company.

The perks would be having fruit and coffee readily available in the office at no expense to us. The social events are well catered for and we are treated to many social events throughout the year. It would be awesome if we could have an agreement with private health or gym memberships for the teams that require a certain fitness level to perform their jobs.
