it is flexible
Graduate, Brisbane - 27 Aug 2024
My team are pretty flexible with time, we can come in any time between 7-9 and leave early or stay later accordingly. However, we work 8.5-hourdays which is not the norm in Australia and feels a little unfair.
Graduate, Perth - 23 Aug 2024
Standard 40-hour week, but the company is extremely flexible about when these are completed.
Graduate, Brisbane - 23 Aug 2024
40 hrs per week and at least three days in the o_ce
Graduate, Brisbane - 22 Aug 2024
Company is quite flexible as long as you complete 8 hours. Work from home is not allowed for graduates (understandable) but is allowed under exceptional circumstances
Graduate, Perth - 19 Aug 2024
40 hours per week regular time, and additional hours as over time (time & half and double hours)
Graduate, Other (Please specify) - Mackay 4740, OLD - 15 Aug 2024
I'm in the office for approximately 9 hours every day. quite flexible. i can work less on some of the days if I have some personal stuff to take care of and then can cover them by working more on other days.
Graduate, Brisbane - 06 Aug 2024
Our team is very flexible when it comes to work hours, as long as you are completing the 40 hours a week as per the contract. Our group and team leaders embrace flexible work hours as their lives also require flexible working hours due to family commitments or similar.
Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Aug 2024
Work is very flexible. When we first moved to the new building It felt like we were forced to come to the o_ce when there are very limited seats. However, now it has been sorted out and there are enough seats for everyone.
Graduate, Melbourne - 03 Aug 2024
Very flexible, I can use accrued TIL whenever I need, I can start earlier or later, work longer hours at the start of the week so I can finish early later. And I can work from home if I want, although I prefer to be in the office.
Graduate, Perth - 02 Aug 2024
I work late sometimes
Graduate, Canberra - 02 Aug 2024
It's flexible working at o_ce or working from home, if you can deliver the project well and in a timely manner.
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Aug 2024
Flexible working hours allow me to live my life as well as work. I can choose to work from home without asking for approval from managers, but I prefer to come into the office for the most of the week.
Graduate, Brisbane - 02 Aug 2024
My manager is quite relaxed about work-from-home days, and very understanding when things come up. However, management has apparently started to crack down on people working from home more than from the o_ce (more-so now than at the start of my grad position) so I am conscious of only working from home one day a week. I come from a retail background, so the opportunity to work remotely at all is a welcome change!
Graduate, Brisbane - 02 Aug 2024
40-hour week, flexible working-from-home arrangements
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Aug 2024
Company is fairly flexible. I am rarely ever overworked as a grad, and I usually work 9-5
Graduate, Sydney - 01 Aug 2024
Hours are reasonable, I barely ever have to work over my intended hours, though this may be team dependent.
Graduate, Sydney - 15 Jul 2024
I'm working 8 hours a day, 4 days a week at the moment due to workload. Generally, that does affect my financial situation quite a bit, but it does help me save more time to work on the stuffs that I really want to do outside of work. The company is also very flexible in time distribution, which is one of the greatest things I love about Stantec.
Graduate, Geelong - 15 Jul 2024
Work hours are ok. 8:30-5 but not strict. Could start and finish earlier or later and depending on amount of work could work more or less hours in a week.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
My company is very flexible with o_ce hours and I sometimes find myself slacking and working from home more than I would like to. I try to get into the o_ce three days a week but sometimes its two or even one
